Winter Warm-Up Sample

"Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening." — Acts 16:25 (NLT)
Paul and Silas had every reason to complain—they were beaten, chained, and imprisoned unjustly. Yet instead of despair, they chose to worship. Their joy in suffering wasn’t just inspiring, it was contagious! The other prisoners listened, and eventually, God moved miraculously to set them free. Worship in hard times is a powerful witness. I once went through a season of deep disappointment, and I learned that worship was not just a response to good news—it was a weapon against discouragement.
Whatever trial you’re facing today, choose to worship in the middle of it. Turn on a worship song, pray out loud, or write down reasons to thank God. Let your praise rise before the breakthrough.
Prayer:
Lord, when life feels heavy or unfair, help me to lift my eyes and worship You anyway. Let my heart sing even when my circumstances don't change. Use my praise to encourage others and glorify You. I trust You to work even in the darkest moments. Amen.
