The Power of Faith in Jesus
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16, ESV).
Jesus Christ is the greatest hero in the Bible! He is the only person to ever live a perfect life, to fully please God, and to save humanity from their sins. All He asks is that we put our faith and trust in Him as Lord and Savior. When we believe in Jesus, He changes us into a new person— we become heroes like Him! Faith in Jesus is the key to living the heroic life that God has for you (2 Corinthians 5:16-21).
Jesus left heaven and came to Earth so that He could rescue us from our sin. He was truly heroic in every way! He loved God and loved people — and He wants us to do that too.
When you believe in Jesus, He saves you and makes you a hero.
- How can you live heroically like Jesus?
- How can you love God and love others?
Dear God, You are the true hero! Thank you for saving me from my sin and making me like Your Son, Jesus. Help me be a hero like Jesus. Grow my faith, my love for You, and my love for others. Amen!
