Prospering Through PubertySample

Day 2: Managing Emotions With God’s Help
Scripture:
“A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.” – Proverbs 25:28 (NLT)
Puberty Fact:
Mood swings are common during puberty due to hormonal changes. You might feel happy one minute and frustrated the next—and that’s okay.
Faith Tip:
You don’t have to let your emotions control you. God gives us self-control and peace when we pray and pause before reacting.
Affirmations:
- I can manage my emotions with God’s help.
- My feelings are real, but they don’t control me.
- I am calm, kind, and full of God’s peace.
Prayer:
Lord, help me when my feelings feel too big. Teach me to pause, breathe, and talk to You first. Fill me with Your peace when I feel overwhelmed. Amen.
