We Are FamilySample

Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
Trust is a big part of being a healthy family. What does this passage reveal about trusting God as a good parent?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
What can we learn about God by learning about the promises God made to others?
Why do you think God cares if we trust God's promises?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
Have you ever broken a promise to someone in your family or had someone go back on their word to you? What was that like?
God promises we're part of God's family no matter the circumstances of our earthly family. How could embracing this change how you view your own family?
What do you think it looks like to welcome others into God's family with no strings attached?

About this Plan

Family can be complicated. Some family memories make us laugh, and others… well, we’d rather forget. The truth is, no family is perfect, and even the Bible is full of families that fell short of the ideal—just look at Abraham’s! In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll follow Abraham’s family, who had their own set of imperfections, and see how God was faithful through their best and worst moments. Along the way, we’ll discover that no matter what kind of family we have, there's always room for us in God's family.
