Jesus continues to teach that while practicing this righteousness, we cannot look down on others. He tells us God is looking out for our best, so we should ask Him for what we need. As if it weren’t already obvious, Jesus lets His audience know that entering God’s kingdom isn’t easy.

Sometime people feel that trusting Christ is too easy of a way to enter a relationship with God. It’s not. We have to recognize that we can never be good enough on our own and that we need to depend entirely on Jesus. Many individuals have way too much self-confidence to depend entirely on Jesus.
