The origin of life
In this Bible reading plan, I will take you on a journey to the secrets of life. Let's start where it all begins. The moment when God forms the first man from dust. There he stands. Gray, cold, and motionless. Then God breathes life into him.
To this point, God's creative word was sufficient, and things came into existence. The sun, the moon, the plants, the animals. Simply everything. Until God created Adam. With a spirit, a soul, and a body. Complete and perfect. He created him with His hands and breathed life into him. God is the origin of life on earth and in the entire universe.
Your life is no coincidence. God has planned you. He chose you. Your Creator formed you and breathed life into you. But He was not the only one who had to make a choice. You also have to choose. For Him and for life. From the very beginning, God presents man with the choice: life or death.“But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
Man decides against God. As a result, disobedience brings sin into the world, and with it comes death. It is the most tragic moment in the history of the world. Since then, generations of people have lived on this planet without knowing that they are dead. Paul once said: "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world." To be spiritually dead means to live separated from God; cut off from Him, the source of all life. But fortunately, the story does not end here. Tomorrow we will talk about the path that leads back to life.
