Finally, a man of God will teach your son to be an example for others. It’s great if your son follows the Godly man’s example and becomes one himself, but it’s not enough. He will need to carry those blessing forward and train up the next generation to take his place when it’s time.

This is something that is very important, and it’s a lesson that many great men have been ignorant to over the years. We don’t want the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to stop with us. We want to pass on everything we know just like things were passed to us. In this way we can carry on the love of Christ until He returns.

Disciples of Jesus make more disciples of Jesus.

Showing, teaching, and being an example for others is something that should be an intentional action for it to be most effective. Being passive rarely leads to teaching anyone, so it will be important for your son to learn how to pass down everything he learned.

In numerous places in scripture we see how important it is for us to show others and lead by example.

Just by reading these devotionals you are doing a great job mom! You are on the right track! Keep praying and trusting God through the good times and the hard times. He will never let you or your son(s) down!
