Boldness and Confidence

Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to Him? You be the judges! As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

Acts 4:18-20

Heavenly Father,

You tell us to count the cost of following Jesus. No matter how the world resists You, give my son a bold witness for the gospel. Guard him from fear or discouragement when he’s called a fool or suffers for his faith. Let him speak Your Word and uphold Your truth, no matter the opposition. May his love for Christ always triumph over intimidation by Your enemies. Amen.
