Spirit Filled: Holy SpiritSample

The Holy Spirit not only guides us—He empowers us. The early church was transformed when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples at Pentecost. These once fearful men became bold witnesses for Christ, proclaiming the Gospel with power. The same Spirit that filled them lives in us today, equipping us to overcome sin, resist temptation, and live with courage.
The Spirit strengthens us in our weaknesses and emboldens us to share our faith. Sometimes, we may feel inadequate or afraid to speak about Jesus, but the Holy Spirit gives us the words and confidence we need. He works through us, not because of our own strength, but because of His divine power.
Reflection
- Are you relying on the Holy Spirit’s power or your own strength?
- How can you allow the Holy Spirit to empower you in your daily life?
Prayer
Lord, I acknowledge that I cannot live a victorious life without Your Spirit. Fill me with Your power so that I may boldly live for You. Help me to trust in Your strength rather than my own. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
