RE-SPONSE Worship 101Sample

DAY 10: CREATIVE COMMUNICATION
Imagine you’ve just discovered something amazing—like a new trick on the soccer field, the perfect hack to solve a complex math problem, or a new song that’s stuck in your head. What’s the first thing you do? You share it! You show your friends, you explain it, maybe you even demonstrate it. Why? Because when something excites us, we can’t help but pass it on.
That’s exactly how it works with Jesus. When we experience His love, His power, and His presence, we naturally want to tell others. It’s like when you score the winning goal in a match—you don’t keep quiet! You celebrate, and your entire team joins in. Worship is like that—when we see more of God, we respond, just like the creatures in Revelation who keep discovering new things about Him and saying, “Holy, holy, holy!” (Revelation 4:8).
But here’s the thing—how you share it matters. Imagine explaining that soccer trick to a friend, but you mumble and look away. Or you try to show them, but you keep tripping up. Will they get it? Probably not. That’s why we need to be clear and intentional as communicators—whether we use music, art, media, or just conversations. Paul talks about how our lives should reflect the message (2 Timothy 2:20). That means not just speaking about Jesus but living in a way that shows who He is.
Now, think about this: If you teach that soccer trick on a bumpy, muddy field, will it be as effective? Probably not. Context matters. The same goes for how we share the Gospel. We need to ensure people can actually receive it—whether through the right words, music, visuals, or even the environment we create.
And here’s the final part—response. If your friend watches your soccer trick but never tries it themselves, have they really learned it or enjoyed doing it? We will never know. Communication isn’t complete until there’s a response. Our goal isn’t just to talk about Jesus—it’s to invite people into an experience with Him.
So here’s my challenge to you today: How is your life sharing Jesus? What has He shown you that you can’t keep to yourself? Let’s live and create in a way that makes others want to know Him, too. That’s how His glory covers the earth!
