The Compassionate Heart Of JesusSample
Living in a neighborhood can be positive or negative, depending partly on those who surround you: your neighbors. Loud parties, roaring cars, and barking dogs bring negative feelings. If these are your neighbors, love them anyway. We are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves. Next time your neighbor does something to irritate you, remember the love of God and act on it. Jesus's definition of a good neighbor was someone with compassion. Pray for compassion and do something nice for your neighbor, you may just be surprised.

About this Plan
In an encounter between Moses and the Almighty on Mount Sinai, the Lord declares He is compassionate. The gospels record this same heart of compassion exuding from Jesus Christ while He was on earth. In this 40-day devotional read scriptures and reflective thoughts on Biblical compassion.
