EmergencySample

What's your emergency? šØ
You know what's incredible? Each of us has our emergency situations. Every one of us.
For one person, it might be illness; for another, family disputes. Someone else might be fighting for their marriage right now, and maybe you also know someone who's currently struggling to find a job. Others are so lonely that they battle every day with thoughts of ending their lives...
Isnāt that crazy? Every one of us has our personal emergency situation. And each emergency situation represents a significant burden for that person, one they carry day after day.
And you know why I always like to use biblical examples and comparisons to help you? Because I could also take my own life. I know about depression, I know about sexual abuse, I know about emotional abuse from a narcissist, I know about eating disorders and the desire not to live anymore.
I'm alive today only because I take the truths of the Bible seriously!
God knew when you would be in an emergency situation. And today He speaks the following words to you, which you can read in the Psalms:
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 NIV)
God is your refuge. That means God is a safe and protective retreat for you.
God is your protection. You can trulyāand I mean truly, trulyārely on God in these times. He promises you His help in this verse. Now let this truthāin the midst of your emergency situationāreally sink in!
āBecause you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.ā(John 20:29 NIV)
God sees you in your emergency situation, and He says to you today: "I want my children to believe and not despair because I have your emergency situation under control!"
You are a miracle!
