Paul understood this critical truth and prayed for believers, as stated in Ephesians 3:16, “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” A strong inner man determines your resilience, clarity, and victory in life's battles.

When your inner man is weak, external circumstances easily control your emotions and decisions. Proverbs 24:10 says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Without deliberate spiritual strengthening, small trials become overwhelming, and you find yourself struggling unnecessarily under pressures God intended you to overcome.

A strong inner man remains unmoved by outward circumstances, rooted firmly in God's eternal truth and promises.
