More Than Just a Story - the Book of JohnSample

As followers of God, we know that Jesus is the Son of God because the Bible tells us so. However, simply saying He is the Son of God was not enough to prove it. Even Jesus acknowledged that He needed others to testify on His behalf.
Jesus had many witnesses who confirmed the truth of who He was. John the Baptist declared Him the Son of God. His miracles—healing the sick, raising the dead, driving out demons, and more—proved His divine identity. Only the Son of God could do such things. God Himself confirmed it, declaring Jesus His beloved Son at both His baptism and the Transfiguration. Jesus also reminded the Jews that the very Scriptures they studied pointed to this truth.
Yet, despite all the evidence, many still refused to believe. They rejected Jesus' testimony and, in doing so, rejected the God who sent His son to be our Savior.
Have you ever done something God called you to do and felt rejected by others because of it?
How did that make you feel?
Do you think Jesus felt that way, too?
