The Plentiful Harvest

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the enormity of a task? Jesus reminds us that the harvest is abundant, but we are not alone in the work.

Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few" (Matthew 9:37). His words highlight a truth that remains today: there are countless people ready to hear the gospel, but there are not enough workers to share it.

The abundance of the harvest should not discourage us but instead encourage us to take part. God has prepared the hearts of people around us, and He invites us to join Him in this incredible work. The Apostle Paul reflects this urgency in Romans 1:14-16, where he speaks of his eagerness to preach the gospel to all people.

This task is not ours to bear alone. As we step into the harvest field, God equips us with the Holy Spirit and the support of His church. Together, we can reach those who are ready to encounter His grace.
