BLUEPRINTS

When you connect with God through conversation, you enter into an intimate space where you feel safe to share your heart, dreams, desires, and plans with Him. He delights to hear you talk to Him and share everything! Yet, in the same way He longs to hear from you, He also desires to talk back to you and share His plans!

In Genesis 6, we see Noah, a righteous man who walked with the Lord. The Lord revealed His heart to Noah about the wickedness that had overrun the earth and then proceeded to give him the blueprints to build an ark. What a conversation to have on a simple afternoon! Noah may have had other plans for what his life would look like, but, as he walked in relationship with God, God shared the blueprints He had for Noah. Imagine if Noah viewed conversation with God in a one-sided manner and never gave God the room to share His heart? God may have given the blueprint to someone else, causing Noah to miss out on the will God had for his life.

Do you give God the room to speak in conversation, or are you speaking the entire time? Do you pause long enough to hear Him, or are you already on to the next thing after just a few seconds? There are blueprints from heaven waiting to be given to you as you give God the room to speak! Give Him the room!

PRAYER

Father, thank You for leading and guiding me. I give You all the room! Say whatever You want to say. I yield to You, Your ways, and any blueprints You want to entrust to me. I love You! Amen.

APPLICATION

• What plans have you made where you have not sought the Lord's heart?
• Ask God to reveal His blueprints to you and obey what He tells you.
• Submit your plans to the Lord and allow Him to direct your steps!
