Try the Bible ExperimentSample
As we begin this time of reading and reflection, we encourage you to open up your physical Bibles.
Take a moment now to breathe deeply, in and out, three times; focusing your mind on the present moment.
What are you thankful for today? What are you worrying about?
Pause to recognise your own thoughts and feelings.
Acknowledge the things that you’re thinking about, then push them out of your mind as you come to the Bible.
Read through these questions and then read the following passages. When you’ve finished reading, come back to these questions. Perhaps you’d like to make a note of your answers somewhere.
- What does this passage tell you about God, Jesus, and God’s plans for us?
- What does this passage tell you about humanity?
- Is there anything that this passage encourages us to start, stop, or continue doing?
Write down any questions or thoughts you may have in your Bibles or a notebook.
We’ll look forward to seeing you in one of the drop-in calls soon!
