DAY 5: FAMILY

“We are family”

Family is God's masterpiece, designed as the foundation of society and a reflection of His love. Yet, when we look at the world today, the image of family is often fractured—homes led by vulnerable children, parents absent, and relationships strained.

The Scriptures remind us that He is "a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows. God is in the business of restoring what is broken, including families.

From the very beginning, God established family, as part of His perfect plan. In the book of Genesis, God created Adam and Eve. Together, they became the first family, commanded to be fruitful and multiply, reflecting God’s design for unity and flourishing relationships

God’s heart extends beyond biological families. Through Christ, we are adopted into God’s family, becoming co-heirs with Jesus. The church, as a spiritual family, is a place of belonging, healing, and growth. That is God's ultimate plan to reconcile all people to Himself.

Psalm 127:1,3
