Unity and Restoration

DAY 3 OF 6

Resting in the Father’s Arms

We’ve all carried burdens that seemed impossible to bear. The exhaustion, the pressure, the accumulated pain—sometimes it feels overwhelming. But today, I want to remind you of something precious: there is a safe place where we can rest. That place is not an escape or a fleeting relief; it’s in the Father’s arms.

Jesus extends to us a loving invitation: "Come to me." He doesn’t set conditions or expect us to be strong or have it all figured out. He simply calls us, with all our weaknesses, to find rest in His presence. Resting in God’s arms is an act of surrender, where we stop struggling alone and trust that He is able to carry what we cannot.

In the army, when a soldier is wounded or exhausted, they are taken to a safe place where they can recover before returning to the battlefield. In the same way, God offers us this refuge. He welcomes us, tends to our wounds, and renews our strength. But for this to happen, we must stop, be still, and allow ourselves to be cared for by the Lord.

Dear sisters, how often do we try to carry the world on our shoulders, as if it’s up to us to solve everything? Today, I invite you to release that weight and rest. Bring your worries, fears, and struggles to the Father. Speak to Him, open your heart, and then be still, allowing Him to pour peace into your soul.

And remember, friends: we can be instruments of this rest for others. Perhaps you know someone who needs a word of relief, a gesture of care, or a prayer. Let’s be bearers of God’s peace, helping our sisters find rest in the Lord.

Reflection Question: What do you need to lay down in the Father’s arms today? Who among your friends and sisters in faith can you help find rest in God?

About this Plan

Unity and Restoration

This plan is a journey of restoration and purpose for women who have faced struggles and seek renewal. Each day, you will be guided to acknowledge your wounds, rest in God's arms, and discover how He transforms pain into learning and powerful testimonies. Additionally, we explore how you can become an instrument of healing and support for other sisters in faith.
