Government of Peace

DAY 5 OF 5

What if I go through a really bad time?

Psalm 31:15, "Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth."

Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.

Everything is temporary, both the good and the bad, and if we let ourselves be guided by our emotions, perhaps we will live on an endless roller coaster, even when the journey is over because that bad day will also end; that bad moment will also have its end. Having control helps us understand that there is a government that must be respected and that I am not Lord and King of my life, and that every day, there are benefits that I must take advantage of and, of course, receive each day as training to live in peace.

Look at what Isaiah 33:22 says: "For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He Himself will save us." By exercising control over each emotion, feeling, and other, we are then developing a strong mind that can "let go and forget" the past and can run to the glorious future that God has already prepared.

We can be living a beautiful season and be so sad because there are emotions governing, being carried away by the temporary and by vain things that do not generate anything, or we can be living a strong season and be out of control, hopeless, afraid of the uncertain future that seems to be, when we could be at rest, trusting in God's promises and understanding that in the end that season may be near.

I'm not saying there won't be days when we cry, get anxious, or have doubts, but rather I'm trying to say that when they appear there, the guards will be speaking, comforting, strengthening, and overcoming fears; it is necessary to understand that tribulation does cause sadness, but that when it passes it will be a cause for joy and that is a reason to keep moving forward, believing and not giving up and as you win battles, even when they seem very small, they are strengthening you so that you can see the wonderful life that God has given you. Soon, you will see the city of your mind rebuilt, and it will be said of you:

"Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God" (Psalm 87:3). ................................................................................................................

About this Plan

Government of Peace

"When a new King reigns in the city of your mind," as Isaiah 60:17 says, "I will make peace your governor and righteousness your magistrates." In the city of my mind, a new kingdom has been established, ruled by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, my beloved Jesus Christ. He has established a reign of peace there.
