21 Days Of Grace For The PaceSample
Help is On the Way!
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
Hebrews 4:16
Facing a time of need? Feel like you have just one nostril above water? Need another jolt of grace for the pace? The great news is that you can obtain grace to help you every day of your life!
In a particular season of my life, when our four kids were preschoolers and we were pioneering a church, I desperately needed grace to help! I needed "grace for the pace."
I remember latching on to this verse and spending a lot of time hanging out at God's Throne of Grace! It seemed like every day I was running to His throne to obtain more grace—grace that would empower me, strengthen me and infuse me with His ability to be a mom, a wife and to help my husband in ministry. What a pleasant reality to discover that God actually dispensed tangible deposits of grace when I asked.
When God dispenses grace, one of the benefits of His grace is His kindness in exerting His holy influence to strengthen us. God's grace gives us a supernatural, spiritual deposit of His strength and ability. By grace, He infuses our inner man with strength and His ability to do the very things that overwhelmed us. When life seems overwhelming, His grace is sufficient for us.
What are you facing? What demands seem overwhelming? Do you need another booster shot of God's grace for the pace?
Let's run to His Throne of Grace with boldness to obtain it.
"Father, I come to Your Throne of Grace with boldness today to obtain mercy and find grace. I ask You for a big deposit of grace to help me. I ask You to fill me with Your strength, ability and help to do all that I need to do today. I receive 'grace for the pace' now. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
