We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 98 of 365
In Joshua 7, Israel suffers defeat because of hidden sin, revealing that true victory requires surrender and transparency before God. Achan’s hidden actions impacted the entire community, showing us that sin isolates, while confession and surrender restore. The Holy Spirit calls us into a life of honesty, guiding us to bring all things—our strengths, weaknesses, and failures—into God’s light. In surrender, we experience the freedom and healing only God can provide.
In Luke 9, Jesus challenges those who would follow Him to count the cost of discipleship. The Spirit works in our hearts, helping us to understand that true discipleship means holding nothing back. When we surrender our plans, dreams, and control, we experience a life rooted in God’s strength, not our own.
Today, ask the Spirit to help you live with a heart of surrender. Invite Him to reveal anything you need to release to God, trusting that as you surrender, God’s grace will fill every empty place with His peace, purpose, and strength.

The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
