We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 64 of 365
In Leviticus 19, God commands His people to “love your neighbor as yourself.” This command isn’t just an instruction—it’s an invitation to embody God’s love, justice, and compassion in every aspect of our lives. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live this out, helping us go beyond superficial kindness to genuine love that seeks the best for others, even when it requires sacrifice.
In Mark 9, Jesus calls us to live with humility and to avoid causing others to stumble. The Spirit convicts us, guiding us to examine our words and actions, showing us the ways we can either draw people closer to God or push them away. This love requires us to see others as God does, to act with grace, and to be mindful of the impact we have on others’ faith.
Today, ask the Spirit to deepen your love for others. Let Him fill your heart with compassion, patience, and grace so that your life becomes a testimony of God’s love and a source of encouragement for those around you.
