We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 355 of 365
Esther’s courage is put to the test as she faces the daunting decision to approach the king on behalf of her people, risking her life to fulfill her calling. This act of bravery in Esther 4 echoes the spiritual battle described in Revelation 12, where the forces of good and evil collide in a cosmic struggle. Both Esther’s story and Revelation 12 remind us that following God’s purpose often requires courage, sacrifice, and an unwavering faith in His protection.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to stand firm, equipping us with courage and conviction when facing opposition. Like Esther, we may be placed in challenging circumstances “for such a time as this,” and it’s the Spirit who provides the strength to act boldly in faith. In moments of fear or doubt, He reminds us that God is with us, guiding and upholding us as we pursue His will.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit for the courage to stand firm in your faith, especially in situations that may feel overwhelming. Remember that your faithfulness has a purpose far greater than you can see. Embrace His strength, knowing that every step taken in obedience echoes throughout eternity, fulfilling God’s plans for His kingdom.
