We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God

DAY 195 OF 365

Day 195 of 365

In Amos, the prophet calls Israel to “seek the Lord and live,” a plea for them to turn from their sins and return to God with sincerity. Israel’s neglect of God’s ways has led to devastation, yet God still calls them back, eager to restore. In Galatians 1, Paul admonishes the Galatians to hold fast to the true gospel, urging them to remain faithful to God’s word. The Holy Spirit draws us to return to God with humble hearts, letting go of anything that hinders our walk with Him.

True repentance is more than remorse—it’s a heartfelt commitment to align our lives with God’s will. The Spirit softens our hearts, enabling us to walk in humility and faith, fully aware of our need for His mercy. This constant returning to God renews our relationship with Him and strengthens our faith.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where you need to turn back to God. As you surrender, invite His refining presence to renew your heart and align you with His purpose. May your devotion grow deeper, reflecting a life that honors God in both word and deed.
