Overhaul Your Life!Sample

Where are you "staying,"?
How do you know if the life you are currently living is what God has intended for you?
Actually, a single Bible verse could already answer this question today:
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5 NIV)
This verse is part of Jesus' farewell speech to His disciples, where He expresses His love and connection to them and gives them instructions for their future lives. Don't forget, the disciples, just like you might be now, were at a turning point in their lives too.
This Jesus, whom they had been with for so long, this Jesus who had performed so many miracles before their eyes, was saying goodbye! Suddenly, they were on their own!
And maybe something is also saying goodbye to your life, something that has provided you with security. Perhaps you also feel like you are suddenly on your own.
Well, I'm glad that Jesus wants to give you a very personal encouragement or reassurance today. Because when Jesus says, "remain in me," He emphasizes the importance of a close and consistent relationship with Him.
He challenges His disciples—and you today—to remain faithful to Him and to focus on Him to live in His will. Yes, this close relationship with Jesus is necessary to clearly recognize whether you are currently on the path that God has prepared for you.
*Do you have this relationship with Jesus?" Are you staying in Him" as you go through the decisions of your life? Or are you realizing that it's a different story for you right now?
Then come back to Him today through a prayer: "Jesus, I (no longer) have this deep relationship with You. But I want to remain "in You" in everything I do and decide, yes, in my whole life. I want to live with You and for You. That's why I give You my heart today, yes, my whole life. Amen."
And don't forget: Every turning point reveals a divine new path!
You are a miracle!
