Psalm 63:8

In this verse, we are given a beautiful picture of David doing everything that he can, while he entrusts the Lord with all things.

God's right hand is an emblem of His might and His power. Listen as Moses praises God after He delivered His people with His mighty right hand of power!

We've been called and set apart for a purpose that the Lord planned before time began. He purchased and redeemed us with His mighty right hand through the sacrificial death of His Son for this purpose. He chose us to be His beloved. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. We are the body of Christ. So with heartfelt gratitude for all He's done, we want to be careful to devote ourselves to the purpose for which we were saved and rest in His power to enable us. Read Titus 3:4-8.

So we cling to Him knowing that His mighty right hand upholds us. In the midst of our weakness, we hold fast to Him by faith, trusting in His power and strength. No matter what's going on around us or in us, we walk forward clinging to our Lord, believing that He is going to accomplish everything. It is in Him that we place ALL our faith, ALL our trust, and ALL our hope. He is mightily glorified in the process; His perfect plans are accomplished. May many see and fear and know that He is God (Psalm 40:1-5).
