One a DaySample

Today, we open a new book - the book of beginnings. A theological rule that is good to follow is to take note of the first time something is mentioned as the trendsetter for every other time we see it. If we follow this rule then we will see dozens of important “firsts” over the next several weeks. Today, recognize that God created order and then filled with creativity. Our God is not a God of confusion. Everything has a place and everything reproduces according to its kind. Where do you belong? What are you reproducing? Perhaps, you need to take a moment to ask about your purpose.

About this Plan

Welcome to a plan that is designed to go slower together. We wanted to take things slow to allow for better meditation - one chapter a day covering every major division of the Bible. We staggered the order as well in order to keep things fresh. We have chosen a book from the Torah, historical books, the poetic writings, and the Prophets from the Old Testament. And, in the New Testament we have a Gospel, Pauline epistle, Hebrews, and the Revelation.
