What a treat! Hebrews was written to the Jewish people to show them that there is nothing worth going back to in Judaism. It seems Gentiles always want to find something beyond Jesus and that Jews always want to go back to something. The book of Hebrews is written to show that Jesus is greater than anything Judaism ever claimed. Jesus is better! Better than the law, the temple, the angels, the prophets… He’s just better altogether. And, there is nothing beyond Jesus. So, keep your affection and attention on Jesus alone!
