Journey With Jesus 365Sample

Our disappointments are God’s appointments!
In John Chapter 11, Jesus was informed by Mary and Martha that their brother was sick unto death. Jesus loved Lazarus and his sisters very much, yet even when He heard the news, He stayed where He was two more days with no fear or panic. Jesus knew the purpose of this illness was not unto death but for the glory of God! As Jesus came into town, Martha recognizes His ability to heal Lazarus, but now that he has already passed, she thought it was too late. Jesus started to weep, showing His humanity and His great love for Lazarus. Jesus had them remove the stone and called out for Lazarus to come out of the grave. In John 11:40, Jesus asked a question that we should ask ourselves today: “Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?"
Let us not panic when trials arise; let us trust in God and believe that He can do the impossible!
