How much would you pay to have your dream life? What would you have to sacrifice to pay that price? People make sacrifices both personal and financial for others and themselves. Some would give more of themselves to enjoy more later in the long run or suffer more to benefit later. But there is no guarantee that you will live long enough to enjoy the results of hard work, investments, and time.

It is interesting to note that Jesus did not come to earth to start a business, make money, and establish a political empire for generations to enjoy. We must remember why Christ came from heaven, what He came to do, and the results of following Him. How does Jesus compare the kingdoms of this world to the kingdom that is not of this world?

A better question to ask would be, How can you sacrifice today, to invest in the kingdom of God?
