“How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!” Proverbs 16:16
This fortnight, we are going to read a collection of Psalms of Wisdom, including Psalm 119. These Psalms teach us to cultivate a long-term mindset, fixing our hearts and minds on what is truly important rather than living for short-term gain. This often involves contrasting the ways of the wicked and the ways of the righteous. These Psalms pay a good deal of attention to the law and are rich with instruction and teaching elements.
