A Year in Luke/ActsSample

In the next section, Luke 7:11-17, we witness Jesus’ compassion when He raises the widow’s son at Nain. Jesus sees her sorrow and approaches her with tenderness, saying, “Do not weep.” This moment highlights God’s deep empathy for human suffering and His awareness of the needs around Him.
First, I’d like to invite you to think about all of the ways God has drawn near to you in your pain. Second, can you take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to help you to slow down and see the people in your world today?
