Paul made this his mission - he declared the story of Christ in all places and to all people, both Jew and Gentile. That is the only reason why the Jews are trying to kill him. But this is where Paul makes it clear to King Agrippa - he never left the Jewish faith. Everything that Paul has proclaimed is the same as “what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass” (Acts 26:22 ESV) - it's just that all of this has come to pass in Jesus and His death and resurrection.
