A Year in Luke/ActsSample

Let’s end this study where the chapter begins. In the midst of all the different events and interpretations, of kingdoms rising and falling, there is a simple yet no less profound story. Jesus notices her when no one else does. He sees that she gives out of what she does not have, rather than out of abundance. The kingdom of God belongs to people like this. We do not need to know all the answers or have everything together. We just need to humbly come before God and give our all. This is a great reminder to end on after all of the different things discussed above. It is amazing how one story like this can put everything else in perspective. We must remember this.
