A Great Awakening: Revival's Hour. Sample

Day 2: The Fire Falls
Revival: The Day of Pentecost (Acts 2)
‘The Day of Pentecost’ was the first and greatest revival in church history. After Jesus’ ascension, the disciples obeyed His command to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Holy Spirit. They gathered in unity and persistent prayer, seeking the power they needed to carry out Christ’s mission. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended in a spectacular display: a sound like a rushing wind, tongues of fire, and believers speaking in languages they had never learned.
The miracle caught the attention of thousands of pilgrims in Jerusalem. Peter, who only weeks earlier had denied Jesus, boldly preached the Gospel, explaining that this was the fulfilment of Joel’s prophecy about the outpouring of the Spirit. The result? Three thousand people were saved and baptised in a single day. This revival birthed the Church and spread like wildfire as the Spirit empowered ordinary men and women to share the good news.
Revival starts with prayer and waiting on the Holy Spirit. Are you creating space in your life for God to move in power?
