The Obsession That DestroysSample
A Divine Creation
God created Adam and Eve to live a healthy and harmonious relationship, where their mutual love reflected His will.
This relationship was to be characterized by intimacy, respect, and sharing, with the desire to give themselves fully to each other.
However, with the entry of sin into the world, this divine plan was distorted. Sin has transformed the gift of union into a selfish impulse, often ignoring the needs and desires of the other.
Sin has altered the vision of sexual desire, which from an act of intimacy and love has become a search for personal satisfaction, forgetting the partner.
Lust is an intense and consuming desire, focused only on satisfying one's own needs. It pushes people to seek immediate gratification, without considering the emotional or spiritual implications of their actions.
True love, on the contrary, is based on sacrifice, dedication, and care for the partner.
Paul, in his letter, describes authentic love: "Love is patient, is kind; love does not envy, does not boast, is not puffed up".
This teaches us that true love means putting aside one's own desires for the good of the other. Lust, on the other hand, obscures these noble feelings, transforming love into a selfish act.
In this context, pornography represents a serious problem. It fuels lust and reduces the other to a mere sexual object, distorting the reality of intimate relationships.
Pornography creates unrealistic expectations and depersonalizes the experience of love.
Although it may seem harmless, it undermines the foundation of healthy relationships, making it difficult to see the other as a partner with dignity and value.
Pornography is not mere entertainment; it is a trap that deeply damages relationships.
To build meaningful and lasting bonds, it is essential to recognize the dangers and commit to cultivating true love.
This love must be patient, kind, and respectful, the foundation of a healthy and satisfying life as a couple.
Only by embracing these values can we rediscover the beauty of intimate relationships as God originally intended.

About this Plan
Pornography is a subtle threat to human relationships, as it distorts the idea of intimacy and reduces the other to a simple object of desire. It fuels lust, preventing us from experiencing authentic and deep love. However, God offers us a solution through a love that is based on sacrifice, respect, and mutual care. By following His teachings, we can rediscover the true beauty of intimate relationships, learning to value the other and build healthy bonds, far from the traps of pornography and based on true communion.
