Daniel concludes with his ministry under the Persians, where he receives several additional prophetic messages, establishing a chronological framework for future events. God calls Hosea to marry a woman who is unfaithful to him and then commands the prophet to remain true to her. Hosea’s life thus supports his message to faithless Israel, calling her back to the God who has loved her despite her unfaithfulness.
