A Beautiful Hope
Christmas is a time to remember the great act of love the Father did for us – He sent His Son into the world to reveal His heart, salvation, and righteousness to all. Jesus’ birth was the culmination and fulfilment of thousands of years of prophecies, the ultimate completion of the promises of God.
On the other side of that glorious fulfilment, we can forget what a light of hope Christ was to the Israelites. Here was their King, finally come to save them, free them, and bond them once and for all into God’s kingdom.
May our Father soften our hearts and eyes to see once again the beauty of this act. This holy Messiah who came down to earth to reveal the Father and give us access to the Spirit, to bring us believers today into His family, and to create a message of hope that will last thousands of years until the day we are finally called home.
