Love Unleashed: 70 Days of TransformationSample
Week 9: Walking in His Power and Authority - Day 57:
As believers, we are called to walk in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. This empowerment allows us to live out our faith with boldness and confidence. His power equips us to overcome challenges, resist temptation, and take ground against the enemy to bring the message of Jesus into the world.
Jesus’ ministry on earth was marked by power and authority. He healed the sick, cast out demons, and even calmed storms while teaching with a wisdom that amazed those who heard Him.
In John 14, Jesus promised that His followers would do even greater things than He did because of the power of the Holy Spirit. This is accomplished not because any of us individually will be more powerful or potent than Jesus but because of the magnitude of all of us operating in the power of the Holy Spirit. Rather than a healing being accomplished individually through Jesus, it is done via multiplication through His followers.
The Holy Spirit can help us resist temptation as we stand against the evil one; He helps us in our weakness. While this is empowering, we are called to walk in humility and surrender. It’s not about asserting our will but aligning ourselves with God’s will. As we learn to accomplish His will, we will find the Holy Spirit flowing through us into the lives of those around us.
Jesus modeled this perfectly, submitting to the Father in all things, even to death on the cross. His surrender benefitted all of us for the glory of God. When we walk in this power, it is for His glory. Today, surrender your life to Him, submit to His power working through you, and watch as He accomplishes more than you could ever think or imagine.
Read This: Acts 1:6-11, Romans 8:11
Think About It: When Jesus ascended, He promised to send us the Holy Spirit to give us the power to accomplish His mission until He returns. How can you rely more on the Holy Spirit’s power daily?
Pray About It: Ask for the Holy Spirit’s power to guide and strengthen you.

About this Plan
Imagine if the next seventy days reframed the course of your life. In Luke 10, Jesus sent out the seventy-two disciples. He instructed them to go into the highways and byways and promised God’s provision. When they returned, they celebrated the amazing things God had done. Over the next seventy days, we want you to actively share the love of Jesus with your community. Each day, you will read a passage, contemplate a question, and be challenged to step out in faith, trusting God to provide. Invite a friend and allow these seventy days to change your life!
