The Joy of Giving
One day Jesus said: "There is more joy in giving than in receiving."
I have always found these words difficult because, let's face it, there is more joy in receiving than in giving.
It took me some time to understand what Jesus really meant.
Let's look at Him: He gave Himself to the world so that many could be saved. He gave His life so that many could be freed from death and sin.
God found more joy in giving Himself than in receiving because His giving led to the salvation of millions of people.
When you receive a gift, love forces you to reciprocate, to be even more generous. When you love selflessly, you become a "creditor" of love.
This is why the commandment says to love your neighbor as yourself: your love must necessarily generate love for you.
Do you understand now why there is more joy in giving than in receiving? I know, it is not easy to give with the uncertainty of not receiving, but this is the law of love.
The same law says that one way or another, your love will produce a fruit from which you will also benefit.

About this Plan
Have you ever read the story of the narrow gate in Matthew 7? A careful reader will notice that Jesus is referring to a lifestyle, a daily attitude that leads the believer to live a full and wonderful life. With this plan, we will discover how to obtain this full life by walking the narrow road and entering through the narrow gate. I anticipate that it will not be easy, but beautiful, rewarding and satisfying.
