Turn On Your Light

Do you like to see houses that are all decorated with lights for the holidays? It’s fun to turn onto a street and see the bright lights, right? Have you ever tried to walk around in a dark room? It’s easy to bump your toe on something! But as soon as you turn the light on, you know just where to go! As we show God’s love in our lives, it’s like turning the light on for people so they can see what it means to live out God’s love. The loving words we say, the kind things we do, and the way we obey and help others are all ways God’s light shines from us. The good news is that we have the very best example of how to live a brightly shining life—Jesus! People are watching how we live so let’s turn on our lights, then they can see Jesus’ love in us!
