Divine Preparations for Kingdom ProfessionalsSample
EMBRACING DIVINE TIMING
It is quite good sometimes to take lessons from your circumstances and what is happening around you. Most people don't take lessons from their circumstances because they lose sight of who they are. I believe the first thing that will help you be what God wants you to be and to hit your time and season correctly is never to forget that you are God's choice for a time. The people in Daniel’s company must be sensitive to divine timing.
In one of my books, I emphasize that one crucial component is 'timing.'' Just as different countries are in different time zones, relying on your friend's wristwatch from Australia while you are in Nigeria will result in missed schedules and mismatched timings.
Once you know that God has chosen you for a time, you must begin to get ready. This may not be your time, but if you miss it or get on another person's timetable, you will be embarrassed in life.
Don't try to fit into another person's timetable or schedule. God has a schedule for you; just get ready. Make all the preparations and arrangements. Maybe the problem you have is not that the devil was that powerful but that you moved before your time. If God has chosen you to be part of Daniel’s company, ensure you read His timetable properly.
Prayer: Dear Lord, sensitize me to the timing of my purpose in life as a Daniel so that I will not move behind schedule or move before my time in Jesus’ name.
