Feeding the Five Thousand
Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. John 6:11 (ESV).
The miracle of feeding the five thousand demonstrates Jesus’ power to provide for our needs. With just five barley loaves and two fish, He fed a multitude, showing that in His hands, even our limited resources can become more than enough. This miracle also teaches us about God’s abundant provision and His care for our physical needs.
Where do you need to trust God’s provision in your life, especially when your resources seem insufficient?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for Your provision in my life. Teach me to trust You with the little I have, knowing that You can multiply it for Your glory. Help me to rely on Your abundance rather than my own resources. In Jesus name, Amen.
