Faith = Jesus > MeSample

Faith = Jesus > Me

DAY 5 OF 5

Faith Comes From Hearing

Here are some verses to remind us that Jesus > us.

1. You Are Not Alone

“I will never leave you and I will never forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5b, TSI)

He knows how heavy your burdens are and how far your journey stretches. Yet, He has never left you alone.

2. You Will See the Goodness of the Lord

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13)

No matter how difficult your circumstances may be right now, there will come a time when you will see with your own eyes and testify with your own lips that the Lord is good and He does not abandon you.

3. He Is Weaving Everything Together for Your Good

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Our perspective is often limited. There are many things we don’t understand right now. But God, who is not bound by time, sees your life from the womb to eternity, and He is weaving everything that happens into His plan for your good.

4. God Prays for You

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (Romans 8:26)

Even in our most crushed and pressured moments, and it feels impossible to pray—when we can’t utter a single word in prayer—know this: The Holy Spirit understands our groans and intercedes on our behalf.

5. Dwelling in the Lord’s Protection

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” (Psalm 91:4)

No matter how hard we try to secure our circumstances, can we truly protect ourselves and our loved ones at all times? Only under God’s protection are we safe and secure. Like a mother hen shielding her chicks under her wings, God covers and protects us. He is faithful; He never fails.
