Unshaken | Be the Man God Made You to Be: Your Identity in Christ

DAY 7 OF 7

Day 7: Reflection and Commitment

As we conclude this study through discovering your identity in Christ, take a moment to reflect on the truths we've unpacked together. From understanding that you are created in God’s image to understanding your role as a warrior for His kingdom, each day has offered insights to strengthen your walk and affirm your purpose.

Today is about commitment. It's about choosing to live out this identity that Christ has secured for you. Here’s what we invite you to consider:

Reflection:

  • Reflect on the key insights from each day of this plan. How have these truths shifted your perspective on who you are in Christ?
  • Consider the changes you have to make in your attitudes, your actions, or even your relationships. How can these consistently reflect your true God-given identity?

Commitment:

  • Commit to daily affirming your identity in Christ. Whether through prayer, study of Scripture, or journaling, find a way to continually remind yourself of who you are.
  • Identify practical steps you can take to live out your identity as a son of God, a royal priest, a warrior for His kingdom, and an heir to His promises. This might involve setting intentional spiritual goals, seeking accountability, or engaging more deeply in fellowship with other men.

Challenges to Overcome:

  • Acknowledge any challenges or obstacles that might hinder you from fully living out your God-given identity. Bring these before God in prayer, asking for wisdom to overcome them.
  • Commit to being open about these challenges with your support network, whether it’s your family, friends, or a small Power of 4 group. Allow them to walk alongside you and provide the encouragement and accountability you need.

Long-Term Vision:

  • Envision the impact of living out your true identity on your future. How will this change the way you lead in your home, at work, or in ministry?
  • Set long-term goals that align with this vision. Outline steps to achieve these goals, and pray over them, entrusting your plans to God’s guidance.

Encouragement to Continue:

  • As you move forward, remember that spiritual growth is a process. There will be victories and setbacks, but each step is part of your walk in Christ.
  • Stay connected with the resources that can aid your growth. Continue exploring the Scriptures, participating in church life, and engaging with the teachings and community support offered by fellowship with other brothers in the faith.

Closing Prayer:

End your study today with a prayer of commitment. Thank God for His eternal and unchanging love and the identity He has given you. Ask for courage and perseverance to live according to His purpose, to the praise of His glory.

We hope and pray this plan is of blessing to you. If you would like to connect with us, then we are here to walk with you. For support and encouragement, visit us at: unshaken.powerof4ministries.org

Day 6

About this Plan

Unshaken | Be the Man God Made You to Be: Your Identity in Christ

This is the first plan of our Unshaken series. A plan designed to guide you in living out your masculinity as defined by the word of God: the Bible. In this seven-day plan, we will guide you into the essential biblical truths about your identity as a man. Your worth and purpose are not defined by culture, personal achievements, past struggles, or present challenges. Instead, you are defined by God’s word, because He has a plan and purpose for you.
