The Influence of Bad Company

Rehoboam was influenced by bad company when he followed the advice of the young men instead of the wise elders. This shows us the power of influence in our lives and how crucial it is to choose carefully with whom we associate.

Reflect on the company you keep. Is there someone in your life who is influencing you negatively? Pray and ask God to guide you to associate with people who draw you closer to Him.

Prayer: Lord, give me discernment to recognize the negative influences in my life and the courage to distance myself from them. Help me to choose company that brings me closer to You and encourages me to live according to Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
