The Power of Dreams
Most of our dreams are pretty nonsensical. Perhaps you find yourself grocery shopping with a celebrity, appearing on a game show, or that most terrible dream—starring in a play and you do not know any of the lines!
Knowing God speaks in dreams and “visions of the night” does not mean every night’s crazy dream is from God. 1 Corinthians 14:33 says, For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. You can believe when He speaks to you, you will know it, and you will have clarity instead of chaos.
However, just because most of our dreams are not messages from God does not mean God won’t share a vision with you this way. If He does, it will be to comfort you, encourage you, fire you up for a mission, or call you to action! Take a few moments before bed this evening to simply thank God for all the ways He speaks to you. Be at peace in the knowledge of His love for you.
As you engage with God’s Word:
● What is God saying to me?
● What does it mean to me?
● How can I apply what God is teaching me?
● How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.

About this Plan
You’ve probably heard the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” God designed our minds to work this way and He often uses different types of imagery to communicate to us! In this six-day plan, we’ll look at examples from Scripture of God speaking to His people in visions to discover how we can hear God’s voice and messages in our own lives.
