God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Ephesians: Week 2 – Day 3
As human beings, we can never achieve godhood or anything close to it. We will never be all-knowing or all-powerful. Despite this, Paul tells the Christians in Ephesus to be imitators of God. What does that mean?
God is love. Everything He does is an outpouring of His immeasurable love for the ones He created in His image. To be an imitator of God is to walk in love. It means recognizing and calling out the image of God in every person we encounter.
With every interaction, we must continually ask ourselves, “Am I treating this person like an image bearer of God?” If we acknowledge someone has been made in God’s image, love can be our only response.
