God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Romans: Week 1 – Day 5
Accepting Jesus as Lord of your life doesn’t automatically make you perfect. Most people don’t instantly overcome addictions or immediately turn into kind, generous people who never make mistakes. However, becoming a Christ-follower does come with a natural desire to be less like ourselves and more like Jesus.
Romans 12 calls us to be a holy sacrifice to God. Again, that doesn’t mean we have to make ourselves perfect and then go to God. Rather, if we give ourselves completely to God and allow him to clean and heal us, then he will make us more like Jesus.
Have you surrendered to the work God wants to do in your heart?
